Good Photos Make Good Websites!

For the best possible results, the agent photos you submit should be taken against a neutral colored background... preferably white... so that the background can be easily cropped out and used in your page header.

The examples below demonstrate the difference between good photos and poor photos.

The worst photos you can send us are "glamour" photos, since they are already blurry. Yep... that's how they take out the lines and wrinkles. Once a glamour photo has been optimized for the Internet, it is even blurrier than before. Crisp, clear photos with solid backgrounds are the best.

Bad Photo

The original photo on the left is way too busy... and the agent's loose hair is virtually impossible to crop out effectively. The best we can do with a photo like this is to "feather" the edges, as shown on the right. Acceptable... but certainly not good.

Good Photo

This photo is much better. The original on the left has a neutral background, so we were able to remove the background. As you can see from the demo header at the bottom of the page, the finished photo on the right has limitless possibilities!
