Short Sales & Foreclosures
I am sure we have had the chance to be on one side or another of these sales in the market as it is today. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to maintain our sanity while struggling through the processes, please share with us.

Yesterday, I attended SNAR’s monthly meeting featuring a presentation on Short Sales and Foreclosures by Sue Saunders, Esq. Legal Counsel for NVAR. One of the most important things discussed was a reminder to refer clients to non-profit no cost to home owner agencies who can help home owners renegotiate their loans to avoid a foreclosure. I will add the phone number and website that for the company that Sue recommended later.

Don’t recommend companies like House Payment Rescue who charges the home owner $2,300 upfront to do what many Realtors do for free (help renegotiate their loans or help with a short sale) or what a real non-profit with also do for free.
